The Songwriting Charity have previously used paper survey forms to monitor their workshops. In Oct 2012, we developed DataFax-compliant forms to collect pre- and post-evaluations of the Bully Beat workshops. DF/Net Research, Inc. generously donated hosting space.

Barcoding, pre-printed IDs and ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) reduced some of the burden of entering data. As shown in this video, musician Ben O'Sullivan (Director of Programmes at the Songwriting Charity) went one step further, successfully capturing text fields via Voice Recognition (using the on-board dictation facility in Mountain Lion).
